It’s difficult for you to communicate, set boundaries, or feel seen in your relationship with your partner.
Your partner doesn't want to go to couples therapy, but you know your relationship is in trouble and something needs to change. You’re overwhelmed by these relational challenges, and ready to get some help for yourself.
You're considering making a big change in or leaving your relationship and want to think through the decision before making it.
You recognize that you have some maladaptive patterns that are coming out in your relationship with your partner and you want to address them.
Things were wonderful in your relationship, until they weren't.
Now, you dread interacting with your partner and often the two of you get into passionate fights or draw out cold, silent wars.
You're lonely and frustrated in your relationship and aren't sure where to go from here. Part of you wants to leave, but the other part wants to stay.
You recognize the ways in which your communication with your partner isn't helpful, but you don't have the tools to do anything different.
Couples therapy might not be right at this time (or your partner may have refused it), but you need help and want to increase your skills so that you feel seen, heard and loved in your relationship.
We'll work together to discover what you can control in your relationship and what is out of your control. We'll then work to improve what you can control - yourself and your actions.
We'll practice communication skills, boundary setting, and processing through your uncomfortable emotions.
As you move toward clarity, you'll feel more grounded in who you are, what you want in your relationship, and your ability to make that happen.
